I hesitate to call TMNT a humor game because in those early years in both the comic and the game they played it pretty straight - well once you got past the characters being various types of animals and aliens.

The only possible omission I see is TWERPS - "The World's Easiest Role Playing System". It looked pretty cartoony and was presented as pretty much a parody too. Plus it's one of the cockroaches of gaming. I swear, I can walk into almost any game store in America and find one of those little ziploc bags on a back shelf or in a discount bin.

Should be an interesting month!Blacksteelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289298640828309072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2465863144787683153.post-11261908795154279422015-09-03T22:12:39.353-04:002015-09-03T22:12:39.353-04:00First, I couldn't agree more in regards to Gre...First, I couldn't agree more in regards to Greg Costikyan. His contribution to gaming has been incredibly significant. He is directly responsible for a number of my all time favorite games.

Second, I am really happy to hear of your interest in my addressing the Ghostbusters RPG. I think the game, like the film franchise, has quite a lot of untapped potential.Adam Dicksteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840144928096089178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2465863144787683153.post-18864090652185290272015-09-03T12:05:07.171-04:002015-09-03T12:05:07.171-04:00It seems that Greg Costikyan deserves a lot more a...It seems that Greg Costikyan deserves a lot more attention than he gets as a key designer in RPGs. At the very least, the advice on how to run games in 1st edition Star Wars d6 has yet to be surpassed. I am looking forward to read the Ghostbusters RPG, which I found for cheap in a town fair last year.Miguel de Rojashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762364029464337239noreply@blogger.com
