  1. On the subject of weird, I remember an rpg in which you played intelligent insects on a post-apocalyptic Earth, but no one else seems to have any memory of it.

  2. Insecta? Is that the one you're thinking of?

I don't own it, but I played it years ago.

Is there a RPG made before 2000 I haven't played or GMed? Is there?! Challenge me! Muhuwahaha!

    Ahem.

    1. Ah no, it was Low Life. I thought it was from the mid-90's but apparently not.

Have you played Pandemonium!, the tabloid rpg?

    2. No! I read through it and want to try it out, but haven't yet. I have played InSpectres (which is awesome btw), Over The Edge and other games with a similar premise.

Low Life is completely different from what you describe though. LOL

    3. Well, it's post-apocalyptic and some of the characters are insects. I just forgot about the sentient cakes. As you do.

  3. I really like most of the RPGs in the list. I have a few too. One question though, how do you get your hand on Satasupe Remix?

    1. As with most of my Japanese TRPG finds, I usually pick them up in Japanese bookstores (of which there are sadly fewer and fewer in NYC), or Anime/Manga conventions.
