Present Unaccounted For

Because of my busy work schedule I haven't actually run a game in weeks. Actually I think I haven't run since I played at RECESS.

So to cheer myself up I'm giving myself a little present and running a one-shot tomorrow of whatever I want. But what to run?

The obvious choice for a cheerful pick-me-up is Star Trek (which pretty much always puts a smile on my face) but I could also go with something a bit wilder since it is a one-shot.

Decisions, decisions.

I'll entertain ideas and suggestions for all of you out there in internet land.

What should Adam run? The suspense is killing me.

  1. You asked...

Bunnies & Burrows: After the Bomb.

Strawberry Crisis - Strawberry Shortcake done as a gritty '80's powered armor/cyberpunk anime.

    Pretty Soldier Sailor Gundam. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/g/gf13-050nsw.jpg

Monchichi: In the Heart of Darkness.

Spider-man: the Musical. Wait. Never mind, that's been done.

  2. I know you've wanted to do Hunter Planet for a while.

  4. @RavenFeast - 'Monchichi: In the Heart of Darkness' can not be run without my ex-wife Selina present. It just wouldn't feel right.

The rest sounds like typical NJ group fare.

@C'Nor - You may have something there my Pinky Toed friend.

@Happy Whisk - Are you really this nice? And a gamer? How does one find a gal like you? Genesplicing? Custom bioroid? I need to know costs and options.

  5. Dunno what's on your shelves, but how about:
    Dominion Tank Police?
    Pirates of Dark Water?
    Paranoia(Classic: with the Commies!)?
    Slayers(Tri-Stat)?
    Kobolds Ate My Baby?
    Tales From the Floating Vagabond?
    Encounter Critical?
    Superbabes: The FemForce RPG?
    All Star Wrestling?
Victorian Zombie Spiritualist Superheroes Fight Cannibal Astronomers In Giant Robots To Save Pluto's Planetary Status(With Run-Ins By Fairies)?(Cuz Dream Park, that's why! Sorry....)
    Good luck!

  6. Velaran, you are by far the oddest concept generator next to my own group I have encountered in a long time. Kudos!

I actually have my idea for the Sunday One-Shot. You ain't gonna believe this one.

    Stay tuned.

  7. I'm pretty impressed with Ravenfeast's list. Strawberry Crisis alone is worth a picture, at least. Quote from the future: "Oh no Peaches N Cream has missile lock"

I think it should be done in GURPS to really make it solid. "GURPS: Strawberry Crisis". Somebody make a cover painting!

I like Velaran's last one too.

    My lone contribution is this:

    Gandhi Squad!

Ah, I find Ex-Wives tend to add some darkness regardless. That's kind of their power.

Let us know how it goes.

  8. I'm both proud and sad to say mine adds a ray light to what I find to be an otherwise dim world.

Unfortunately she only adds a flashlight to mine these days instead of the brilliance of the Sun I was at one time fortunate enough to witness.
